Request deletion without installing the app

Email info@dana.technology with the subject “Gendarmerie account deletion request”. Include which provider you used to sign in (Apple or Google). If available, include your Gendarmerie account ID from the app's account settings.

Request account deletion

Support will verify that you control the account before deleting it. Never send a password, verification code, identity token, location-sharing URL or sensitive NFC payload. Email requests are handled by support; this page does not perform automatic deletion.

Delete in the app

Open Gendarmerie's sharing/account controls, sign in to your account and choose Delete cloud account. Confirm the deletion. This removes the cloud account, its sessions, sharing links and latest shared location. Revoked links stop showing your location.

Remove shared location without deleting your account

In Gendarmerie, open sharing controls and choose Revoke all links and remove shared location. Confirm the action while connected. The app pauses publication; after the server confirms removal, all your existing location URLs are revoked and your latest cloud location is removed. You can keep your account and create new links later. Offline or failed requests remain unconfirmed: reconnect and retry before assuming server deletion succeeded.

For local location history, use the separate local-location deletion control. It stops recording and clears dashboard journey coordinates and NFC phone-location attachments; Android also removes phone-location attachments from current radio observations. Advanced Android session logs, exported files and recipient-saved copies have separate controls and are not recalled by cloud revocation.

What is removed

The cloud account identifier, cloud session records, link records and their recipient labels, and latest cloud location are deleted. The app does not upload your local radio journal by default. Local journey, nearby-radio/NFC records, Android advanced session logs and copies you exported have separate local controls; remove those on your device. Deleting your Gendarmerie account does not delete your Apple or Google account or copies others already saved.
